Jagged horizontal blue lines everywhere

All of a sudden my tv has jagged blue horizontal lines over the entire screen. I can still the picture on the tv but these ghosting lines are drving me nuts. To fix the problem, I take an open hand and slap the side of the tv pretty firmly. The lines go away, but they come back shortly. Help !!!!!!!!

Vertical line picture

problem is caused by the loss of horizontal deflection signal. It is quite surprising that the entire unit is still working, since usually, a loss of H-Out will disable the entire set. Problem can be as simple as loose solder connection to a more complicated defective horizontal circuit. I would suggest havint it checked by a professional TV tech.
