Different operating system disks use different key sets. For example, an OEM disk will not install with a volume license key. Did you use the original disk that came with that specific computer? Are you installing or upgrading with a boxed, retail version? Posting or sharing keys is unlawful, but someone may be able to assist you in figuring out why it won't accept the key. (please do not post the actual key here)

I have a Compaq Presario SR1630NX...Had to scrub drive, not I can relad windows... getting following error "disk boot failure, insert system disk and press enter" Got any suggestions, just...

Do you have the first boot device in Boot Order set to CDROM?

As SOON as you press the Power On button start tapping on the F10 key. tap in 2 second intervals.
You're supposed to wait until you see the HP logo, but if you wait too long, you'll miss this small window of opportunity.
This method should ensure that you enter BIOS Setup.

(If you get a stuck key error code beep, disregard it. It's okay.
It may be the F1 key to enter BIOS Setup. Watch the screen for the key to press to enter BIOS Setup. It will be shown.

Once you see it start tapping on that key. If the small window of opportunity passes, {Sometimes it goes by q-u-i-c-k}, press the CTRL key, ALT key, and DELete key AT THE SAME TIME.
This will restart your computer so you can try again)

The above link is to show you what the main menu looks like, in BIOS Setup for BIOS version 6, or less.
When in BIOS Setup you cannot use your mouse anymore. To navigate around you have to use the Keyboard.

Use the Right Arrow key to highlight - Boot
Press the Enter key.

Use the Down Arrow key to highlight Boot Priority.
Press the Enter key.

You want CDROM at the top of the list. Use the appropriate arrow key, and highlight CDROM.
Press the Minus key ( - ) to move CDROM around in the list.

With some versions of Boot Order you have to move each boot device until the boot device you want, is at the top of the list. With other versions you just keep pressing the minus key unti the boot device you want comes to the top of the list.

Once you have CDROM at the top of the list, Save Changes.
Look at the navigation guide at the side, and bottom. See which key you press to Save Changes.
(F10?)

Until you save changes it will be like you have done nothing at all. You are just looking around.

Once you press the appropriate key to save changes, a Y/N, or Yes/No will come up.
Just press the small case y key. You do not need to use a capital Y. (The capital Y is just shown for clarity)

The computer should restart now. Put the Win7 disk in the optical drive, if it is not in there already.

For BIOS versions 7 or higher, the information is shown on how to enter Boot Order.
Left-click on the + sign next to -
BIOS Version 7 or greater

How to do a back-up on a casio te-8500f?

Press your "Auto PGM" key until you see CF card. Then back up and or restore from there. You may need to format the card also, especially if it is over 4Gigs.

Wrong product key

The product key label should have the product listed as well. I suspect that the key label you are using is for the operating system itself NOT any product that runs under the OS. You will need to purchase the software in order to get this functioning.

I guess they were asking for the Office serial... Microsoft provides serials but for time-limited trial versions.Go to:
http://us20.trymicrosoftoffice.com/product.aspx?sku=3203819&culture=en-US
and get one of those serials.
To get a non-limited version, you would have to buy Office online.

Creating new items in casio te 2200

Hi.
If you are selling different products, you will need to re-program your PLUs. If you are selling the same products, then you can transfer your PLUs via the CF card to the new machine. I have never seen any way to edit products with Excel. The data is not stored in a database format.
If you buy your products from a large supplier, they will sometimes have PLU dumps available for some models of register. Phone around and find out.

How do i reboot the toshiba te 2000 if i don't have a disc

You can try to boot your toshiba te 2000 up under safe mode. To do this, you start your computer, keep pressing F8 right away, if you keep pressing you should get a startup options, and select safe mode, then it will ask you which operating system (if you have it double partitioned) otherwise it should boot up under the safe mode, otherwise you will have to have the disc.

Hope this helps.
