Hi

Is it only happening in microsoft word? what version of MS word are you using? have you tried looking for updates for printer driver? have you tried printing from different types of paper as well? try reinstalling ms word as well.
Hope this helps

Blurry colorwashed photos from canon pixma pro9000. What can I do to fix this?

Hi there, I located this video about removing the print head and cleaning it. I've had to clean my print head from time to time, so take a look at this video and see if it can give some help. Your printer might not look exactly the same, but you should be able to remove the print head. If cleaning the print head doesn't clean up the color issue, try contacting Cannon support: Canon Contact Us. I wish you best of luck!

I have a c734n printer. It prints fine in microsoft word, but when I try to print a photograph, or print something off publisher pro, it takes 10 to 15 minutes before it kicks in.

This is because the word files are very small and only take seconds to process. However the pictures are much more complex and will take a lot longer to be process by the pc and the printer.
However 10 to 15 minutes is far too long. what is the size of the picture in megabytes and at what resolution are they? the higher the resolution the longer it takes. Also your printer is probably set to best picture quality and this too will take longer. You should also think about increasing the ram in the pc as this will help reduce the times.

Outdoor pics completely washed out Cannon S5 IS Power shot

Try going into the review menu, choose setup and then choose 'reset all' This should re-set all shooting settings to automatic and solve the problem. If that doesn't do the trick, your sensor is probably damaged - not good news - sorry

Make sure the pictures appear in the Windows Photo Gallery. Select the pictures and choose print on the top menu area. You can select contact sheet which will fit 35 pictures. Or if you just want the 30 pics, copy and paste into say Microsoft word and adjust size to fit on one page.

Cannot scan to mp610, but can print (both using bluetooth)

Regrettably, scanning over bluetooth is not possible. Both theoretically and practically. Scanning requires huge amount of data packets to transmitted that is not possible over bluetooth.
