Question about HP Pavilion ze4530US (dp460ur) PC Notebook
Try shining a flashlight on the screen to see if you get anything. if you do, replace LCD its gone bad, if nothing, try connecting a monitor to the external vga port to see what you get. if nothing then its more serious known issue and you will need your motherboard reflowed, or replaced. either will buy you some time, but not completely resolve the issue. its a known issue with hp and these boards, but they will not fix this model. they have issued a limited service enhancement for other models. if you seek a repair try ebay. they have some very knowledgeable techs reflowing boards for about 80-130 depending on the case
i have seen this issue very often.
