Question about Samsung SyncMaster 932B LCD Monitor
My samsung monitor seems to be too bright or two dark, with way too much blue.. and i just cant seem to get the colors right.
Also in some video games now the surface of the water is solid and looks likes its coverd in ice or something.
I have windows xp and nvidia 8800.
I had the same type of a monitor before, and had almost the same problem, I forget how i fixed it before.
anyways any help would be great

This is likely the LCD panel itself - you are describing a left/right image error that can be only created by the left/right division by the LCD driver wrapped around the outside of the LCD panel.
If your monitor uses a separate circuit board to drive the LCD, it could be this driver board.
Either way, it will require an LCD panel - $$$

Is the power button on while the screen is dark? If yes, it means your monitor has gone bad and the problem could be that the picture board of your monitor is bad that is why it is not displaying anything because another monitor works fine with you PC.
It means the picture board of your monitor has developed fault.
The best thing for you to do now is to take the monitor to a local repairer within your vicinity to help with the replacement of the picture board because the fault is not something you can fix yourself, in order not to complicate issues.

Most common failures in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). You will need to open it up and inspect the inside, see example of failed SAMSUNG monitors to get some ideas what to look for: http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums
Post back what you see inside so we can guide you further and it will help out other people in the future also.
