Re: Laptop will not connect to the internet anymore.
Are you using wifi connection, I mean wireless connection or you're hooking up to a LAN network or through a modem connection?
If all this connection wouldn't worked out anymore, try reinstalling your Operating System!

The laptop must be dismantled to access the motherboard, buy a can of compressed air attach straw. Now remove fan and the heatsink, blow out all open ports and fins on the heatsink and fan, next! remove thermal grease from the processor and heatsink with rubbing alcohol and a paper towel, now! apply fresh thermal grease to the processor and heatsink, "small thin layer evenly spread" now assemble, "solves most heat related issues"
If this is happening when you are viewing the videos from an internet site then the problem isn't with your laptop, it's with the internet connection - too slow.
Either get closer to the wireless router (or use a LAN connection instead of wireless) or get a speed upgrade from your ISP.
See if this manual helps. There is not as much service manuals for acer as other laptops. http://www.scribd.com/doc/6469636/acer-travelmate-47204320-extensa-46204220-biwa-service-manual-sgtm47204320book0724-factory-repair-maintenance
Modern PCs and laptops have the operating system tucked away on a hidden part of the hard drive. You will have to read the manual or - better - get the manufacturers on the phone to find out how to recover or reinstall the system.
if the drive its self is locked with a password there is a pay per use program called hd unlocker and it can be found at http://www.hddunlock.com/ if it is locked by the bios you may just open up the laptop and remove the bios battery or just go download the universal boot cd-rom at http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/ if you need more help write me a reply back
i have the exact laptop with the same problem but i finally got it on but i have to use a flashlight to see stuff. when the light comes on pres fn and f7 and that will get you to where i am. i have looked at backlights for it and they are more than we paid for the computer. so i reccomend getting a dell laptop.they are excellent.
Actually Acer use the same laptop case for some of their models, so the acer 4420 doesn´t have built-in bluetooth, you won´t find any driver for the bluetooth cause that reason. I have an extensa 4420-5910, have a bluetooth switch in the case but no bluetooth, if you check at Acer´s web page it say thet some models doesn´t have built-in bluetooth but the switch is in the laptop case... On the other hand, if you install an external bluetooth device, the case switch will be usefull to turn it on and off.
