This webcam does not have the drivers available online for download. You can either try contacting UCOM directly and request them for the drivers or I recommend you download driver detective from driverdetective.com and run a scan with your webcam connected. It will search and install a driver for your webcam.
Yes you can install this without the CD. CD contains the driver required for this camera to work with your computer.
You can download the driver from the A4tech website free of charge. Its in a RAR file. Extract the driver and double click to run the exe file or SETUP. After installation reboot PC if asked and then plug in your camera.
Note that this driver does not have a fancy installer like the CD version but it the exact same. The difference is that you need to run it by double clicking on the setup file. Let me know if you encounter any difficulties.
to download the Camera Diagnostic Tool and run it to check out your camera and/or problem.
Be sure the camera is plugged into the USB port before running the program.
As you run the program, write down the info about the camera so you will know what model and who manufactured the camera you have attached so you can get the proper software drivers for it. Hope this helps. Bud
This is very strange. It sounds like a driver problem, but you said you got the latest drivers from Labtec. I would go to Labtec's support area and copy what you posted her and show it to them to see if they know of any similar issues.
