Question about Zebra 110Xi III Plus Thermal Printer
My print quality is degrading (getting ligher in some areas and less legible in other areas of the same "print page" I purchased the $11 dollar manual. I will look at the printer on Monday, but the head pressure adjustment did not correct the problem.
You can try cleaning the print head with some isopropyl alcohol and a swab but be sure not to touch the element with your fingers that can get grease from your finger on it causing the oil to burn out the element very quickly. You can also check the Print head element its self. What you are going to be looking for are white spots or streaks on the print head. If you see white spots or streaks your print head has reached end of life and needs to be replaced. If instructions are needed on how to remove the Print head and or identify what DPI Print head you have installed please let me know I can post something up for you. If a Print head is needed please let me know as well. I currently carry them in stock new.
