You have a virus/malware infestation. Bring it to a repair shop and let the pros fix it.

How do i keep my nextbook 8 from resetting itself to the factory setting everytime i shut it off

Happened to me today. Fix: Boot it up and go to Settings > Backup & reset > Factory Reset: Check the Erase SDCard Data Box. Make sure you backup all your important information to the External SDCard first using Astro or something. Enjoy your fixed tablet after rebooting again and going through the Wizard for the Last time.

    Hi,
Just make sure with the play store settings, whether you have sign in with your G mail account or not. If no just sign in and try else register as a new user and try. If found still there were an error. Just try to restore the tablet. If you again found the same error then, shutdown the tablet and press power + volume up button up to 15 seconds, so that you will get restore option there and restore through that. Definitely it will work for you.

IPad shows blank black screen & won't turn off ~ how do I fix?

Try reseting the iPad by holding the home and power buttons simultaneously until the iPad completely shuts down and the Apple logo appears.

Once the Apple logo appears you can release the buttons. If this does not work, you may need to connect your iPad to your computer and do a factory restore using iTunes.

My toshiba tablet won't let me go past the welcome screen

If this is under warranty take it back. If it isn't power the unit on with just the battery powering the unit. When you see the Windows splash screen drop the battery out after the screen goes black put the battery back in and press the power button. This should bring up the on screen menu telling you it failed to start or shut down correctly. Select, Boot in Safe Mode and see if the system will power on. If that fails you need to do a system restore. To access system restore options power the unit on and press and hold the F10 key, this will bring up the restore Windows options. From that menu select to restore your operating system. If that fails you will have to do a complete restore to factory default settings. If that fails you will have to replace the hard drive.

My toshiba r15-s822 says it has no drive and gives a (Ide#0 ERROR) i had a virus and i formated the drive a while back and i got a new windows xp install but i cant seem to load it cause it wont show the...

Xp can only "See" a hard drive up to about 128GB, if its bigger than that, XP won't install.

Make sure your drive is properly connected, and jumper in the right place (1 drive, set to master)
If it used to work before your problem, should be ok.

Then boot from your windows disk. If your bios is set to boot from the hard drive, if there's no operating system on your hard drive it can't boot.

If its set to boot from the hard drive first, it may, after a few seconds revert to booting from the disk drive. If not, while booting watch the screen, at the bottom it you should see "Press F2 for setup or F10 for boot options" or something similar. To temporarily change the settings, choose the boot options menu and select "Boot from CD". Restart and you should be on your way.

If that doesn't work, you may need a new hard drive.

My hp tx2120 us was upgraded to windows 7 and has been working great for several months. Now it won't boot up. The lights on the volume control light up, the fan turns on, but the screen remains black....

You may have finally run into the dreaded "defective GPU" issue, that plagued HP and other manufacturers. Thousands of defective Nvidia chip sets were used in the manufacture of these laptops and if you got one of these, it would last about a year, then fail, in the just the way you describe. If you were out of warranty, HP took the low road and refused to fix them, unless you ponied up $450. Then they replaced the defective motherboards with a new one, with exactly the same component.

If you have one of these, you will better of buying a new machine. I'd avoid HP though.
