In order to make other devices see your motorola mobile phone, you should enable "discovery mode", which is activated in Bluetooth menu of your phone.
Please be aware that this feature is turning on only for 3 minutes, then new devices won't be able to find your cell phone. If 3 minutes is not enough, you can activate this feature again (and again).
This procedure is only required for initial pairing, there is no need to perform this operation every time.
Hope this helps!
I think Lexus uses Bluetooth Object Push Protocol (OPP), which means your phone must support OPP. I don't think iPhones support OPP, which means you are SOL. As you noted, there are only 2 workarounds: 1) borrow a phone that supports OPP, or 2) buy a better phone (for example, the motorola droid).
make sure both bluetooth devices are in pairing mode. go into your phone settings and find bluetooth, add device and pair Here is a video on youtube that explains how to do in without navigation from the talk button on the steering wheel. Click here to watch the video
You will find many great videos regarding this subject in youtube. do a search for pairing bluetooth lexus rx350
The navigation system can be no more of an assistance then it is for navigation purposes. If you have a "bluetooth" application built in your tracfone, and your car ALSO has built-in bluetooth, then it is a matter of wireless pairing the devices to void calling out on your phone. Hope this helps!
