Hi, I have a Uniden Trunktracker III BC246T police/fire scanner and the display is all messed up. I can't see any numbers, all I see is black lines that look like a UPC code. Is this something I can fix at home, or will it need to be sent in for repair?

While looking up local listing will take a little leg work, These links below will give you some great starting points. Just remember, agencies will change frequencies, Hardware, and radio types from analog, to digital, to trunked. Also web sites may not have most up to date listings, Id also suggest local amateur radio aka Ham radio clubs. some of the guys there may be able to help you out as well. Best of luck and SCAN ON! :) Enjoy http://www.radioreference.com http://www.interceptradio.com http://www.nationalradiodata.com
