May be a heat problem: check the psu unit for components getting too hot...use a laser thermometer and keep you fingers away from the psu ! other possible problem may be a bad capacitor or the thermal protection before the psu..but this would be a very uncommon problem.

your color calibration may be off. see if you can set the red green and blue settings all to "0" and see if that works. may want to refer to your manual and see how you can do that and also see if there is a auto calibration

PT-AE700U No Power

Hi ErnieN008

If there is no LED's flashing or even lighting up for that matter , then it could just be the fuse on the Poersupplyboard that has gone.

You can replace this fuse by opening up the top cover and looking for the board with the AC inlet on it.

If the problem however still exists , you will have to replace the powersupply.

HI there

This is a faulty Mainboard that will need either repair or replacement.

If a Projector starts playing on and off tricks I have found it to be 99% of the time a faulty Mainboard.

Other than the usual stuff (power cord etc.), check that the lamp cover (not the lens cover) is securely covered. There's a safety mechanism preventing projectors from powering up if it isn't.
