Hi,
Proper way to fix TV is as follows...
Get related service manual from Manual Zone.
Open up service manual and check Audio Amp Out board part number and check its availability in Part Store.
If you feel difficulty to find exact board for audio out, forward service manual to me for further assistance.
Good luck.

Try another way to get the sound out, like using external speakers and just change the settings on your TV to direct the sound to the speakers, that way you dont have to spend alot of money repairing and will defenetly have great sound instead.... Good luck

Hi,
If you could try this one step and lets us know , if the problem is still there , try plugging a headphone in the headphone socket on the TV , and check if there is sound , if no sound the sound controller on the motherboard inside has gone bad . Would recommecnd to call 1-800-samsung for authorized service .

Thanks

Hi there
Try another channel. Press the SOURCE button.
Check that the Mute feature is off.
Check that the internal mute is off
here is how to check:
Selecting the Internal Mute
When using a device such as a Home Theater or Amplifier with external speakers, you can set
Internal Mute to On to cut off sound from the TV’s internal speakers.
1 Press the MENU button.
Press the up or down button to
select “Sound”, then press
the ENTER button.
2 Press the up or down button to
select “Internal Mute”, then
press the ENTER button.
3 Press the up or down button to
select “On”, then press the
ENTER button.
Pressing the up or down button
will alternate between “On”
and “Off”.
Press the EXIT button to exit.

The VOL +, VOL - and Mute buttons do not operate when the
Internal Mute is set to On.
When Internal Mute is on, only the Multi-Track Options and
Melody menu are available.

kind regards

    Hi there
The sound chip has blown and you now need a service engineer to resolve the problem, check this by plugging a set of earphones into the earphone jack, if there is still no sound then it is definitely the sound chip that has gone, if you do hear sound then its the TV settings, try auxillary speakers if this is the case

    kind regards

Samsung DLP HL-R5067W A/V Ports Don't Work

Since I cannot troubleshoot the set I do know that the Analog bd or the Digital bd or both are bad. Since you had a power outage I really suggest replaceing both parts. You can purchase both parts and install one part at a time until you fix the problem if you feel confident enough to do it your self. If you use one part only then return the unsed part for a refund. Other wise you need a trained Samsung tech to test both parts. There are two Digital bds for this model. Digital bd part#s are BP94-01859F AND BP94-02084A. The Analog bd is a BP94-02049E. The only to tell which Digital bd you have is to remove the rear cover and look at the big shiny silver bd on the left side of the set on the bottom. You might have to remove both the Digital and Analog bd in the metal cage they are in to get the part number. But look for the number on the front of the Digital bd first before removing.
