Not Printing Anything

try removing printer from control panel - printer and devices (right click start icon bottom left corner - select control or settings from menu - I don't use windows 10 much !)
then right click on start and select system . Note the Windows operating system and if it is 64 bit whether it is windows 10s or windows home edition .
Then go back to hp driver download web site and download the matching driver with your printer model and operating system.
Run driver install program you just downloaded to install driver and it should find your hp printer and set it up in windows.

Try to go to control panel and printer and faxes, and look for your printer there if its there just right click on it then click on setup printer Online , then after that try to do a test print if still not printing power off the printer for 5 minutes and try it again,,

reinstall the printer driver from the manufacturers web site as a lack of communication indicates a driver problem
next click on the printer > properties>compatibility tab> click box and highlight operating system on the computer and >apply

try to restart your computer. before u print something, make sure u select the right printer (maybe there's copy 1, copy 2, and so on), check the usb cable, and don't turn on your printer before the laptop/pc ready because your computer will not able to detect the printer if you turn the printer first.

Please install HP SmartWeb printing software in yourt computer and try to print from website. This software can be downloaded from the following HP web link:

If the issue persists, please get back to us with the following information:

* What exactly happens when you print from website?
* Any error messages?

you will not find any tool bar and you will not notice anything

It will just help you when you are printing from websites so that the printouts are okay from websites

this is not all that uncommon...sounds like you have a corrupted printer driver...i would send you a link, but would need to know your printer model# and OS....go to dell.com/download drivers and get the latest driver for your machine....download it to your desktop then run it...the new driver will choose all the settings you will need

For scanning - use window drivers, try under window Photo Gallery. Works fine. For printing, the problem is when it tries to "delete" a file it prints it fails. Can not figure this one out.

Install them and give it a go again.

i believe this is a usb printer if so if you have turned off the pc you may need to go into the printer and faxes part of the start menu and open it up go to properties and make sure that the printer is set to print online not offline and usb connections can sometimes reset otherwise go to the control panel and see how many times your printer is listed delete all but the one that is listed online and try printing from that one set it as default
