Re: new p c game will not launch
If you installed from CD - Have you tried it with the CD in? Many games do not install completely to the hard drive and require the CD to run. If you downloaded it from another source, try installing it again.

The shortcut may be disabled or pointed in the wrong folder locate where the game is installed in your computer C: drive > programs, the game folder and look for the game name with exe as the extension - double click > If the game launches then delete the icon on ur desktop - right click the .exe file and create shortcut on desktop. if it does not then u may have re install the game
try to search it at program files. maybe at installation start menu folder or desktop icon didn't created but the program already installed.
open 'add or remove programs' window. if your game are listed in there, then your game is already installed at the computer. open C drive (where is windows installed) go to program files folder and search your game folder. if you find it then search the game application (.exe) right click and 'send to desktop'.
if your game is not listed in 'add or remove programs', then u need to reinstall the game. maybe there is problem with your VGA or RAM that makes the game erased after you playing the game. or maybe u have your computer 'deep freeze' program and you installed the game at frozen condition.
To verify that the phone have Java installed already there should be a Java icon in the desktop. If there is any, then go to file manager and memory card, search for the saved games that was already installed in the phone and tap it, in a new pop up window you should be able to see "Install" tap it and after that just follow the instructions. Once the game is installed, tap the Java icon in the desktop to open the installed games. If there's no Java icon then it means that your phone have no Java in it.
Sometimes the drives don't automatically recognize cd's (assuming your using CD). Usually remembers last command which can vary from setup.exe, autorun etc. so if a new CD is inserted with diff. program launch, it can go dumb. You can go to "My computer" and double click on your CD drive (with the game cd inserted) and look for setup.exe or install.exe or autorun. Double-click on one of those files to launch the installer.
you can always click on MY Computer, from the start menu or on your desktop if in Classic settings mode.
Then click on the Drive that you put your disc in. And run the Install program. After installing the game it should put a icon on your desktop.
If you already installed the game you can find it on your start, programs menu. Pay attention to the install location if you install it again. Some companies put their games in the folder name of their company from the programs menu.
if you successfully install Mahjong games in default it automatically install in your desktop the game icons. But now a days, program/game makers asking your permission to install the icons in the desktop and shortcut icons in the task bar and if you un check those permission you cannot see a shortcut icons in your desktop.
try to see it in the START Menu Programs. look for the game if there's a drop down menu look for the game icon and right click it. if no drop down menu just right click it. and go to send to and click desktop and now the game icon is already displayed in your desktop.
if you can't see it in START Menu Programs. Please re install it.
Which Texas Hold'em are you referring to? There are quite a few of them. A link to it would be helpful. And what version of operating system are you running? And finally have you tried soft-reset the iPAQ and see if the game works?
By the way, please don't post in all capital letters. It's not that big of a deal, but many people equate it with shouting, to me it's just harder to read.
