Question about Logitech PC Cordless Rumblepad 2 Controller (6992752)
I have followed your instructions and downloaded the Joytokey software. I have mapped all the buttons so the keyboard emulates my cordless rumblepad 2. However, I don't understand how to stop the joypad mapping to the xbox 360 configuration.
When I delete or change the file name WarInput.cfg, it recreates it everytime I start the game. So now my joypad buttons have two commands each - the xbox 360 and my mapping commands.
Please help me if you can :(
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

SOURCE: Gears of war problem
Finally, I got it.
I couldn't figure out why my Logitech Profiler wouldn't work with this game. But Finally I figured it out. I was pointing it to the wrong executable.
The shortcut points to a exe called Startup.exe. So you would think to point to that. Leave it to MS to obfuscate a simple exe.
The executable to configure in your Logitech Profiler is: WarGame-G4WLive.exe
(but don't try starting the game through profiler. It won't work. You have to start it through the shortcut and setup.exe.)
Full path below...
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Gears of War\Binaries\WarGame-G4WLive.exe
Now that I did that, I can configure the pad any way I want and it works!

There is a way to fix it: go into your control panel under Game controllers, select your logitech cordless rumblepad 2 and hit
properties -> settings -> Enable Swap Mode -> close -> ok
Now start Gears of War and go into the options menu under controls for the controller.
Invert Axis = yes
Joystick Mode = Left-handed
This fixes the problem with the joysticks, but there is still a button fix that needs to happen. operations for buttons 2&3 are swapped, same thing with buttons 1&4, 5&7 and 6&8. I don't how to fix this problem yet.
