Well, it would be easier (and cheaper) to download the drivers from Acer's website.
Go to:

and select your exact model. You will find all the drivers there.
As for windows, what version is it upgradable from and to what?

Refer to the documentation that came with your computer to make sure it came with a DVD drive. If in fact it came with a drive then look at the sides and front of the notebook for a rectangular button and press it while the computer is on and booted up at that point the drive should open.

1st download nero iso maker
2nd download recovery disk for ur laptop
then u nid a 4.7 gig blank disk then burn the recovery disk
