the first things to check is the door switch,open the door and push in the switch,if it doesn\'t click when pushed in the switch is bad,next thing to check is the belt,on some models there\'s a switch on the pulley assy. if there isn\'t any tension on the pulley the dryer won\'t start.if you need more help i need the model number off of the dryer,open the door and lolook around the opening where you put the clothes in and you\'ll see a tag with the model number,if the dryer hasn\'t been taken apart and cleaned out the thermal fuse could have popped,if the dryer gets to hot inside from a blocked vent line or the duct that the lint filter slides into is blocked the fuse will pop and it\'s non resetable.

Check to see whether there's power getting to the dryer. Is it plugged in? If you plug something else into the outlet, does it work? If not, check for a blown fuse or tripped circuit breaker.

Door Switch

not a good model number,most likely you have a broken belt as long as it starts,heats but the drum doesn't spin,if you get a buzzing sound and it doesn't start you could have something stuck in the blower wheel,the motor is jammed or the motor is bad,you can open the door,push the door switch in,spin the drum with your other hand and have someone push the start button,if it starts you have a bad motor.

what I found out with my hair dryer (conair infinity model) was that there was a short at the plug and when I bent the wire a little to left or right the dryer would work. The plug is GFI protected that means there is a test and reset switch built in to the plug. There for for me to fix my hair dryer I would have to replace purchase order the whole cord. The cord assembly cost almost half the price it would cost to replace the dryer with a new dryer. I purchased a new dryer.
