I lost the plug that makes the dvd player work on both,,, i bought an aux cable but it only sends sound not the picture. What is the wire name that i need?

The cable you bought has probably 3 and not 4 segments, that's why it doesn't work, because you need 3 segments for Sound and 1 for video. What you would need is a AV Cable and not a Audio cable (if it is the same cable as the Philipps portable DVD Player. You can call Philipps Customer support at 1-888-744-5477 or their retail parts company called Fox International at 1-800-370-6369.This is what I've personally done, because my cable wasn't working anymore after kids damaged it. Good luck

The LCD Display seems to have lost some of its color hues and now the screen displays images in blue and yellow only...

The cable or connection unit connecting the unit to its display is probably damaged, seek warranty support.

No sound, tried replacing rca cables and coaxial. Turned off to reboot, no luck.

I have the same problem. During a storm, I lost power. When power came back on, the Recorder lost sound. I've tried new cables and checked connections. No luck. Please share if you find the solution. Thanks.
