Question about Gateway M305CRV Notebook
I was adding software and downloading a few things. I packed it up and hard powered it off and brought it over to a friends house. When I got here i plugged it in and tried to power it up and it would not power up at all. I see the light in the front showing it has life but it won't turn on. i didn't drop it or abuse it in anyway. i was about to send it to my bf in the military so he'd have more stuff to do in his off time. Now i do not know what i am going to do to fix this issue. It has a new battery and new power inverter for the screen.. i did pull it apart but everything looks like it is in place.. any suggestions to how i can test it or get it back up?
Ok there area few things you can try to get to the bottom of this, firstly remove the battery and try it on AC power only, check that the memory is free of dust and is seated properly
post back with the results please

Verify that the AC power cord is connected to the DCT*
and an AC outlet.
If the DCT* is connected to a switched outlet on another
unit, verify that that unit is powered on.
Press the POWER button on the DCT* front panel instead
of the remote control. The batteries in the remote control
may be depleted
The DCT* may have received a software update and
may not power on while the new software is being
installed. Try again in a few minutes.
