I recently looked at a filter housing... the waterline was an integral part.

You can get press fittings... or may have one You have only to push the tubing into the fitting. To release you need only push the collar around the fitting to release.

When the WORLD figures out how EASY these new shark bite fittings are...
Plumbers are going to have to get really competitive!!

SOURCE: LG french doors, bottom freezer. Water leak from

Make sure your ic maker is empty. On the bottom of the ice maker is a small button. Watch the plastic fill tube and hold the botton in. Let the ice maker cycle anmd see if the water over shhoots rne ice maker. If it does, trim 1/8 of an inch off of the tube with a raxor knife on an angle = / this should take care of your problem.

Lg French door inside ice maker stops working but water flows out the back of the fridge where the water line gores in. Water line is fine and just had a new ice maker put in but it still does not produce...

Sounds like you have to have a leak in the water line somewhere. The water line goes to the top hinge in the door, so the water has to come from somewhere below that point or it would be collecting inside the door and leak out the front. A leak would prevent water from getting to the ice maker, or a leak at the valve could have this effect as well. Check the water valve that gets a call to send water to the ice maker.

How to remove icemaker from whrilpool ultraease refridgerator

I had a simular problem with my Whirlpool frig--First of all I would check 1/4 inch plastic line coming from water valve up to ice maker, loosen this line & try to blow thru it -if there is an obstruction it probably is frozen inside plastic fitting at top where it goes thru cabinet & into ice maker if so you can melt by by running a very warm metal object up & inside fitting be patient, you need to both inside & outside--If this the problem, your water valve is probaly bad because of not shutting off properly causing the "drip effect" you can purchase valve on line for aprox $10.00--$25.00 Good Luck--John Morris--

How can i turn off the water function on the door but not the ice, the water line keeps leaking on the back of the frig

When I had this problem the water was coming from the top right rear where the water tube feeds the ice maker. The water line INSIDE the frig that feeds the ice maker occasionally freezes up causing an obstruction which causes the water to leak out the rear. This can only happen when the icemaker activates the water feed. You can remove the tube fitting without fear because the valve that feeds water through the line is at the bottom rear of the unit. If the line is frozen inside I remove the ice bin and tray and use a hair dryer to melt the ice.
I have a similar problem with the condenser fan making a tapping/clacking noise which is also a result of ice building up on that. Wish I had a different frig but for now the hair dryer will have to do.

My LSC 27950ST Refrigerator stopped making ice. How can I fix it? It still dispenses water. Thanks, Steve

Check to see if your ice dispenser is frozen, make sure you also check at the top where the ice comes out. That happened to us, a blow dryer took care of the problem. Hope this helps.

Water for the ice maker does go through the valve but not through the top rubber coated feed through to inside of freezer. Is this another valve or just an insulated feed port to the freezer that supplies...

Hi There
I have found this for you, read this and let me know how it goes.
The ice maker is producing ice poorly When an ice maker is producing ice poorly--when it produces just a few cubes or none, or when the cubes are too small--it's usually because of a clogged water line or a defective water inlet valve. First, check the water line attached to the back of the refrigerator for good water flow. To do that, first turn off the water supply valve. Then remove the water line from the back of the refrigerator. Next, place the water line into a bucket and momentarily turn the water valve back on to test the flow. If the flow is poor, you need to repair, clean, or replace the tubing or the shut-off valve that supplies the water. If the flow is good, you may have to replace the water inlet valve.
Thank you for writing to fix ya.
Best Regards Richard
