Question about Cameras
I went to a beach and took many pictures. It worked very well.
But after i got home. I can't turn on the camera. I taught battery might died. Even I try with a new battery. It doesn't work.
Is it possible that a back pack is a little bit moisture then it affect to the camera? What should I do? Now I am in USA, where should to go to fix it?
Actually I bought my camera in Japan. I have the same issue, Returned from vacation. Downloaded the pictures OK. Then the battery died. Tried recharging, no luck. Then bought another set of batteries, still cannot start the camera.
If these cameras get any moisture, salt residue, or dust particles from sand inside, some damage can be done to them. There are very find gear-works, and very sensitive electronics used inside.
You can contact Canon tech support to find out where to send them the camera for service. I doubt they will fix it under warranty.
