My Kenmore Elite HE3 electrical dryer runs fine and the drum inside runs but there it does not heat up. The clothes are still wet and I already cleaned everything from the inside out it still does not heat up. If you had the same problem or if you are having the same problem please tell me what is wrong and if I can fix it.
Odd but it worked for me!! Try resetting the circuit breaker. It will not appear to have blown, this is because only 1/2 the breaker needs resetting, This is much cheaper to try before calling for service or parts. My 2002 E3t has only had this problem once and the resetting worked without further issues for 2 years now. Good luck
Mots likely your heating element is out replace it and you should be good to go

it sounds like a clog in vent.if yours vents up thru roof you may need to have a chimney sweep come out and sweep vent.check and make sure the vent hose is net kinked or full of lint.
Hi,
If you are having problems with your
gas dryer not heating the most common problem is that the ignitor
goes bad. Even though it glows sometimes it is still not working
properly.

My Kenmore Elite HE3 has exactly the same problem..runs normal but no heat.
The dryer spins and I can tell there's heat inside, but the clothes don't dry. It always takes an hour to dry a load, but now it takes 3. We've cleaned all the ducts outside of the dryer. What could be the issue inside?
The dryer is running but no heat.
My dryer has to be run 2-3 times before it will dry anything...I can feel heat coming out of the duct, and it is getting warm - used to be so hot you could barely touch stuff right after it came out. I can't afford a repairman but don't know where to find the heat element...I am going to try the circuit breaker first, just to see - but if that doesn't work - what next? The manual is no help at all.
