Hello, I have a Fritzbox 7170, a PC and an IBM Notebook. The Wlan Bridge soesn`t send the SSID. The buildin Wlan Configuration Tool of my IBM doesn't show any wireless network. I connected the Bridge to my Notebook by cable and tested several progs like Look@Lan etc. I can't connect to the Bridge. I think I need this tool from Lanready but I don't find it to download.
Thank you for your help.
And I'm sorry for my english ;-)

I have this same access point and was wondering if anyone can recall the default IP address and login information to get into the configuration. I reset it and DHCP is turned off inside so I don't know the IP/Gateway.

plz le mee know in detail , r u noot able to go into the interface of yor wless accesspoint,,,, or ya r not able to connect to the acces poing from yor wireless computer.
if you ar using an wless acces point then yor computer should also have a wirelless adapter/interface/card in most recent laptops its coming inbuilt.
lets assusme that ya have the wlees adapter/card/ interface on your computer but you are not able to connect wireleesly to yor access point--- thenya need to check wireless zero configuration (WZC)service of windows xp.(assuming that you r using xp or above)--steps to enabe WZC are -- START , RUN -TYPE "services.msc" without quotes, check the service from the bottom to top , ya will find wireless zero configuration , double click it n check startup type should be- automatic- and service staus should be-- running. click apply n ok , n if there are some wireless singals approaching to your this computer ,it will show ya a message like signal detected from your accesspoint. n ya ll be able to connect wirelessly ,,,,,,,,
+++++ note : if this doesnt work the do le mee know the details of the complete setup n default ips on acces point n your comps ip , wired one
