Exact same problem for me today. Same LG 32lc5dc lcd TV. The 'Input' button on the side of the TV (as well as the menu button) seem to be turned off, and the remote that the hotel gives out is the simplified PayPerView remote. Don't have a universal remote with me so short of picking one up, any way to get this thing going my way so I can change to the component video and get some xbox going?

If the TV has the lodgenet card installed, Which is what handles the pay per view stuff, there is no way to enable the inputs, if what they stream down from the hotel explicitly disabled the inputs. Only way around this would be to remove the 2 screws holding in the lodgenet card, and pulling it out of the back of the set (Don't have to pull it out all the way, just enough to disengage the data socket. Once the card is removed, you would need an actual LG remote (not the pay per view remote) and hit menu a bunch of times until it stops flashing menu on and off. Once it stops, you type in on the keypad, "98765" "ENTER". This will take you to an installer menu. Scrolling down to the highest numer there is (Should be one backwards from the "000" you start on" there is "Factory Reset" and you use the right arrow key and set it to "1" and then press enter. The TV will flicker a couple times, and then, all inputs are active. Once you are done with it all, pushing the lodgenet card back into it's socket, and installing the 2 screws will put the set back to the hotel settings. Now realize once that card is pulled, you won't be able to watch the hotel's PPV or inhouse channels, only a few Free to guest channels will show up.

Worked Great, out of Hotel Mode now. When I got to the 000 the menu changed. Scanned the channels and got it working. Then I put the Lodgenet card back in and it went back to hotel mode. I then removed the lodgenet card and used a small flathead screwdriver to remove the plug circuit board and just left it hanging and pushed the card back into the TV and screwed it back in. The circuit plug is just hanging inside TV and is not plugged into TV to put it back into Hotel mode.

Same problem. If I go around the back of the set and unplug the coax cable going into the set, as well as the M.P.I silver satin, whatever that is, the Input button on the side becomes active and I can select RGB or Component, but AV1 / AV2 which are what I need are still greyed out.

Same problem, and this worked. I only needed to disconnect the M.P.I. silver cable (looks like an ethernet cable) and the menu button on the side panel worked, as well as the input button. This allowed me to pick any input, including HDMI. Thanks!

How can I connect my laptop to my LCD TV through HDMI cable (brand:LG) (model:LF15 series) HD ready?

You'll need to make sure that your laptop & LCD TV have an HDMI port. If they both do, simply connect an HDMI cable from your laptop to your LCD TV and make sure the input on the LCD TV is set to receive A/V from the HDMI port.

Where to connect my pen drive in my sony bravia lcd klv32s400a?

Hi Radhika,

Your TV has USB port on back side. Just plug your pendrive there. Then go menu on TV ( use your remote commander) and go to this input. Your TV will read the file on pendrive accordingly.

TV displays RGB code and then displays, no signal and then shuts off. What does the RGB code mean?

It means the source is not set correctly. Switch the source to input 0 (cable or antenna depending on your particular set up).

RGB port

A VGA & RGB port is the same thing. RGB is Red/ Green/ Blue for seperate input & VGA the video graphics array which does the same thing.
A DVi is an entirely different type of input port for digital input where your VGA port is more for analogue type inputs

Try changing the resolution on you computer. That TV may not handle the current resolution setting. You may also have to do something on your computer to turn on the rgb output.
