How do i upload video from my nikon d7000 to my computer. Will upload photos but the video didn't

You neglected to specify how you're trying to upload your videos so I can only give general hints.
First, make sure you're using a program that recognizes videos. If you're using a program designed to copy photos, that's exactly what it will do -- copy photos. Videos aren't photos, and such a program will ignore them.

The best way to download pictures and videos from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures and videos from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or, as I suggested earlier, use a program that recognizes both photos and videos, such as Nikon Transfer.

Mac Sony DSC-TX7 to iPhone 4 Converter-Play MTS on iPhone 4

I just bought Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX7 camera and like to play with the new AVCHD recording, which is the spotlight comparing to previous Cyber-shot cameras. It is good to know that PMB Portable is built into the camera for easy transferring and downloading videos to hard drive. But I could not play the AVCHD video on iPhone 4.
The AVCHD video from Sony TX7 is in .mts format, which is not recognized by iTunes, let alone to iPhone 4. I googled for solutions to sync AVCHD videos to iPhone 4, and found Aunsoft MTS/M2TS Converter for Mac the perfect Mac Sony TX7 to iPhone 4 converter. Besides converting AVCHD to iPhone 4 MP4, it also downscales the video resolution from 1920x1080 to iPhone 4 compatible 720p.
If you have similar problems for playing camera HD videos on iPhone 4, just follow the steps below to convert AVCHD videos on Mac Snow Leopard and enjoy videos on iPhone 4.
Step 1. Load Sony TX7 HD videos to Aunsoft MTS/M2TS Converter for Mac.
After transferring Sony TX7 AVCHD video to computer hard drive, just run Aunsoft MTS/M2TS Converter for Mac as the best Mac Sony TX7 to iPhone 4 converter, and click the "Add" button to load HD 1080i AVCHD videos.
Step 2. Choose iPhone 4 MP4 format.
Click the "Format" option and choose iPhone > iPhone 4 H.264 720P(*.mp4) for converting 1080i Sony MTS to 720p MP4 for iPhone 4 with H.264 as video codec.

Step 3. Convert 1080i MTS to iPhone 4 MP4.
Click the convert button and the Mac Sony to iPhone 4 converter starts transcoding 1080i MTS to iPhone 4 MP4.
Wait until the conversion is finished, and it is easy to sync Sony videos to iPhone 4 via iTunes then. Aunsoft MTS/M2TS Converter for Mac helps you convert Sony AVCHD videos to iPhone 4, and AVCHD videos from Canon camcorder, Panasonic camcorder to iPhone 4.

My boss is having trouble accessing the videos he's uploaded onto his Mac BookPro, using his SD card with the Targus TGR-MSD500 device. He can see the video's first image, as well as the video duration...

Be sure the video is actually downloaded onto the computer, not just connected via camera/usb cord. Usually, all you have to do is double-click on the video and it will play automatically. You could also right-click and choose to open it with either Quicktime or iMovie.

You can't transfer videos through USB. You will need a Firewire 6-pin cord and use it to connect from your MAC to the Camcorder. Only then you can transfer videos.
