You might as well toss the cd... but when connected to the router, bring up a web browser window and type Http://192.168.0.1 in the address bar (username is Admin password is blank).

You can now setup the connection using the guide (quickstart or manual) that came with the router.

Hope this helps.

No you don't need SP2, but there is SP3. that would be nice.
anyway, connected the router first. then follow the instruction on the CD. without the router connection the CD is useless.

My D-Link WBR - 1310 router is giving me grief. I am trying to look over the settings because we just got a new televsion that has wifi, but it keeps telling us to check our access point. It wont let me...

If it says anything about access point, it does like the encryption type like as WEP WPA WPA2. Also there will be a code after that, you might have to use AES or TKIP for your television, that you have to change by logging into the router and changing.

How can i made admin password in WBR 2310?

in your explorer bar
type 10.0.0.1
log on as ADMIN
Password Admin or 1234
add new user when logged on
create your password here
make new user the default user
'write down log on details and password too

open a second explorer bar and log in as new user for testing
if working save your settings and close explorer

open in admin mode then try new user mode
admin probably wont work now new user is the default user so everything should be working now

Disable firewall on your computer. It seems that it's blocking you from getting in the setup page. you may also try using another computer to login just to isolate your problem
