While taking pictures the button that you push to take the pictures popped off. I have it, but it won't stay on when I try to just push it back on. Is there some way I can fix it or do I need to take it...

most of them have a simple little snap on them but you have to get it just right...but if you can not seem to fix it send it in for repairs but ask around about prices because some people will rip you off for a little fix...hope this helps

Missing shots

your camera works fine, but they made it like this, so you should push the button all the way down, not half way, because when you push half way, the camera focus on the target, and the little lasers flash, but that is no shoot... on the other hand, if you push half way the button, the camera focus on the target, then you push it more, then you shoot the picture and it is saved. Try to be more careful about what means all way down and half way down.
Hope it was helpful

Nikon coolpix s210 Not taking pictures

It sounds like you should try a new set of batteries in the camera. I have a similar camera and the flash is the first to go when the batteries are dying.

I hope this helps,

Sony's broken button issue

You need to use you fingernail and pop off the entire button assembly. When you have done this you will be looking inside your camera.

Set the new button assembly into the slots. It will not want to go on by just pushing down. The plasitc assembly is very slick so put a small piece of scotch tape the yellow stuff. I put the tape around the plastic assembly. Make sure you are only putting tape on the chrome plastic assembly. The reason for the tape is to get a good hold of the plastic asembly.

Once you have the tape on the assembly/chrome piece you need to really push down and twist clockwise. You will hear a click and then another click. Make sure you hear two clicks. I had to push and twist pretty hard to make it lock into place.

Camera frozen

You can get the card sorted by taking to a process station and getting them put on a disk. Or a friend with a card reader on their computer. As for the camera - were you on the coast? Damp and salt air are camera Killers. Take battery out Put camera in a large snap shut poly back with a spoonful of rice or salt tied in a cloth with it andsnap it shut and put in a warm place for a couple of days. This will help dry out the cercuits- it may work If it does not - then contact Nikon support - dont mention the seaside - see what gives.
