Numbers are displaying when I hit a letter on the top line

When I strike the Q, W, E etc keys, it displays 1Q, 2W, etc. We have replaced the keyboard and it still happens. Any suggestions?

Some of the keys on the keyboard when pressed display the wrong letter/number/character. i have changed the keyboard but its still a problem.

First thing I would check would be the "NUM LOCK" key. It may be activated via the function (FN) key on the lower left of the keyboard. In other words, hold down the FN key and hit (NMLK) which should be somewhere along the top edge on the right side.

I think it's a very little thing, but i can't help you more unless i see it.

Good Luck :)
