My remote is an Atlas DVR/PVR 1055.
    Hope this helps

  • billr740 Jan 08, 2009

The solutions I've received so far are copies of what I already have in the remote control instruction manual. I am looking for the four-digit codes that go with my particular dvd/vcr unit. Thanks

Hi there
I'm sorry to tell you that there are no codes for the Daenyx dvd/vcr combo for use with the Universal remote, you will have to get a remote which supports Daenyx.
Have a look at the remote controls site to varify this:

Sorry i couldn't be of any more help and kind regards

  1. If your home entertainment device does not respond to the Atlas 1055 Universal Remote Control after trying all of the codes listed for your brand, or if your brand is not listed at all, try searching for your code.
    1. Turn on your TV.
    2. On the remote control, press TV once; it blinks once. Then press and hold SET UP until the TV key blinks twice.

    3. ENTER 9-9-1. The TV key blinks twice.

    4. Aim the remote control at the TV and press PWR once.
    5. Press CH+ one or more times and stop when the TV turns off.
NOTE: In the search mode, the remote control will send IR codes from its library to the selected device, starting with the most popular code first.
    6. Press SETUP once to lock in the code. The TV key will blink twice.
    7. To search for codes of your other devices, repeat steps 1 through 5, but substitute the appropriate key (e.g., AUX, DVD, CBL, or STB) for the device you are searching for.
Good Luck

Dvd/vcr combos usually have different codes and you will only be able to get one or the other (ie only dvd or only vcr) to work. with an off brand like you have, try the codes for other manufacturers like sansui, magnavox, philips, etc and hopefully one will work. unfortunately i have very little luck with dvd/vcr combos. a learning remote will learn any code and can be "taught" to program this device

Hi Bill

Here are the set up instructions as this remote doesn't have a code for this device

The Atlas 5-Device Remote Control with Learning is preprogrammed to operate the cable box (converter)provided by your cable system, an RCA TV, a Toshiba DVD player, an RCA VCR, and a Pioneer audio receiver. To control devices other than the default brands, perform the following steps; otherwise skip this section.NOTES: For control of a Combo device (for example, a TV/VCR combo), skip this section and perform the instructions on “Setting Up a Combo Unit” in the manual. If you have another brand of cable converter or a satellite receiver you would like to control, you’ll need to unlock the cable ID Lock before changing the converter code (see “Programming Cable ID Lock” in the manual).

  1. Turn on a device and, if applicable, insert video media, (e.g., cassette or disc).

  1. On the remote control, press a device key once(i.e., VCR, DVD, AUD, TV, or CBL); it will blink once. Then press and hold SETUP until the selected mode key blinks twice.

  2. Use the lookup tool below to locate the type of device and brand name and then enter the first four-digitcode for your device. If performed correctly, the selected mode key will blink twice.

NOTE: If the selected mode key emits a long blink, the entry is invalid. Repeat steps 2 through 3and try entering the same code again.

  3. Aim the remote control at the device and press PWR once. The device should turn off. Ifit does not, repeat steps 2 through 3, tryingeach code for your brand until you find onethat works. If it still does not respond, trysearching for the code (see “Searching forYour Code”).

  4. NOTE: If the device does not have a PWR key, pressthe PLAY key.

  5. Repeat steps 1 through 4 for each device youwant the remote control to operate. For futurereference, write down each working devicecode in the boxes on the following page.

Need code for universal remote for sylvania srd3900 dvdvcr

Check these codes:
0456 [0458 0227] [0458 0236]
Where the code is listed as [### ###] the first is for the DVD and the second is for the VCR. Otherwise just the one code operates both the DVD and the VCR.

Your universal remote would have seperate selection buttons for VCR and DVD. If you don't have a VCR button, use AUX. Try programming each function seperately - DVD code for your manufactirer on the DVD button and VCR code for your manufacturer on the VCR button.

Remote control cod

I guess I will have to buy another universal remote control that will have some codes for
the GoVideo model DV1030 that I have.
Since apparently you all are not going to help me, unless I spend money to get the code. I think that your customer service is very poor. I will not ever buy another Go
product.
