Question about Brother P-Touch 2400 Thermal Label Printer
There are rubber rollers inside the machine that pull the paper through. You may have to remove a panel or guide to get to them, but buff them with a fine sandpaper (like 100-150 grit) until they're rubbery and grippy again.
If the rollers are shiny and slick they won't hold the paper well enough to prevent it from slipping, and when it slips it prints distortedly. Make sure you get all the dust out when you're done and keep it clean inside to prevent future problems.
