Question about Kodak EasyShare DX4530 Digital Camera
What the heck is error#41
That error means that you have a lens motor error. there is a way to fix it but you need a precession screw driver. Be careful when doing this and only attempt if you are confident you can pull it of. Open up the camera and find the BROWN RIBBON CABLE that runs from the lens to the edge of the camera case. Then you will see a small philips screw that is in the middle of the ribbon cable, remove it. Right under the philips screw under the BROWN RIBBON CABLE you will see a SMALL THIN METAL SLIDE RESISTOR. now move the lens to the OUTERMOST POSITION then attach the slide resistor and the ribbon cable back exactly how there were reassemble the camera and you are good to go.
