Question about Canon X25 Toner Cartridge for imageCLASS MF5500 Copier

1 Answer

Paper jam When I hand feed the machine, it will print okay. However you can only feed one paper at a time. But if I send something to the printer, the very tip corner of the page is folded, and every page after that gets grind on the teeth of the roller. It stuck, I can get the paper out without leaving any in there, then open and cloe the front, but that still doesn't fix the problem.

When you send something to the printer it makes all the noises and the paper goes through as if it is printing but nothing comes out on the paper. The printer worked before but ran out of ink so the cartridges were changed and they are registering that they are full

Tip

Paper jam problem

We have all had this one happen. You are printing merrilyaway when all of a sudden you hear that distinctive crunch of paper gettingeaten by your printer. You immediately cancel the print job, leap from yourdesk and flip open the printer. "Ugh," you say as you notice the crinkled edgesof paper wrapped around god knows what. Okay, so you have found the problem, but what do you do?
The best way to remove a paper jam is to gently pull thepaper in the direction of the paper path—with power off, of course. Whateveryou do, don not pull the paper backwards. You could damage your printer foreverby doing so.

Printer prints but the paper never comes out

There is a piece of debris blocking the paper from exiting.
Try feeding the paper backward to catch the obstruction.

    Sir/Madam

If you have Brother Printer print quality problems, Then I suggest You clean the Your Brother printer drum unit as follows:

Small Spots on the printed pages:

If your printed document has any small white or colored spots, follow the steps below.

3.Using both hands, put one blank sheet of paper in the manual feed slot until the front edge of the paper touches the paper feed roller. Wait until the machine automatically feeds the paper. When you feel the machine pull in the paper, let go.

    Note
    • Make sure that the paper is straight and in the correct position on the manual feed slot. If it is not, the paper may not be fed properly, resulting in a skewed printout or a paper jam.
    • Do not put more than one piece of paper in the manual feed slot at any one time, as it may cause a jam.
    • Do not put paper in the manual feed slot before the printer is in the Ready state. An error may occur and the printer will stop printing.

Press Cancel so that the printer returns to the Ready state.

8.Repeat steps 3 to 7 two more times using a new blank sheet of paper each time. Upon completion, please discard the used paper. If the print problem still remains, please go to the Step 9.

Large spots on the printed pages:
Hint If your printed page has colored spots at 94mm (3.7 in) intervals, please follow the step below.
    1. 9.Turn off the printer power switch.

    11. See the print sample to identify the color causing the problem. The color of the spots is the color of the drum you should clean. For example, if the spots are cyan, you should clean the drum for cyan. Take out the drum unit and toner cartridge assembly of the color causing the problem.

    Caution
    • We recommend that you place the drum unit and toner cartridge assembly on a clean, flat surface with a sheet of disposable paper or cloth underneath it in case you accidentally spill or scatter toner.
    • To prevent damage to the printer from static electricity, DO NOT touch the electrodes shown in the illustration.

12.Push down the green-labeled lock lever (1) and take the toner cartridge out of the drum unit.

    Caution
    1. Handle the toner cartridge carefully. If toner scatters on your hands or clothes, wipe or wash it off with cold water at once.

14.Turn the drum unit gear by hand while looking at the surface of the OPC drum (1).

15.When you have found the mark on the drum that matches the print sample, wipe the surface of the OPC drum with a dry cotton swab until the dust or glue on the surface comes off.

DO NOT clean the surface of the photosensitive drum with a sharp object.

Paper or specialty media misfeeds
These are possible solutions if paper or specialty media misfeeds or skews, or if multiple sheets feed or stick together.
Try one or more of the following:
Check paper condition

  • Use only new, unwrinkled paper.

Check paper loading

  • Load a smaller amount of paper into the printer.

  • Load paper with the print side facing you. (If you are not sure which side is the printable side, see the instructions that came with the paper.)

Remove each page as it is printed

  • Remove each page as it exits, and let it dry completely before stacking.

Adjust the paper guides

  • When using media less than 8.5 inches wide

  • To rest against the edges of the paper or media, making sure it does not buckle

The Ricoh Alicio SP C410dn says to open the A tabs and remove the paper jam. There is no paper jammed into the machine. The issue only arises when printing from the manual feeder and not from the paper...

You must first try to clean the paper feed roller which you will inside of the printer (bottom) when you pull out the paper tray. If this not works, then I am 100 % sure that the magnetic clutch which operates this feed roller must be replaced. I can tell you the part number for ricoh part catalog:
