Question about Pioneer SD-533HD5 53" Rear Projection HDTV

My sd-533hd5 keeps blowing the 5 amp 125v fuses

My tv keeps blowing the 5 amp fuses in the back of the tv. The tv goes to standby and won't turn on, this started happening a while ago found out it was the was the fuses. The fuse would last usually a couple of months and then blow, then it became more frequent now the fuse only lasts a couple of hours. Is there something else causing the fuse to blow and if so what is it and is it worth fixing. Thanks

Replaced fuses & they keep blowing

there could be a shortage in any of the dc line that cause the fuse to blow up again, either overloading or chortage will cause this, try to see for any sign of other componenet failure, wires that has been bended and cripped, transistor that has been twisted or alike

cheers

No power

I'm having a very similar problem, basically its a fuse that is blowing out, I think the transformer is sending too much power it's way.

Had the exact problem on 11/14/06. Ordered a power supply board, which was $300+, got it in and when I went to replace the part, found that the old part had a blown fuse (a lot cheaper). Of course if I had put in the new part it would have fixed it also. CHECK THE FUSES IN THE MIDDLE CIRCUIT BOARD (there are 3 boards).
