Re: what is opc belt 2700 CN printer
The opc belt is the optical photo conductor belt in your printer. It is the bright green shiney belt you see when you remove a cartridge. You can access it through the top of your unit. You will see a cover where the paper comes out. Inside there are two green clips that push outward. These release the opc belt.
You can purchase a replacement opc belt from most good stationary and consumable suppliers, however, be ready for a shock. the price of the opc belt is almost as much as the unit is worth.

The opc sensor is not sensing the belt. Open the front cover and remove all the toner trays. You will see the green OPC and the sensor is located in the left upper corner. Also open the top cover and remove the OPC. Clean the sensor with a soft bristle brush. Also make sure the OPC left side is free of toner deposits. This may incorrectly trigger the OPC position sensor. Hope this helps.
Your unit requires replacement of the OPC belt. this is a consumable available from most suppliers of laser products. It is easily installed and the reset is in the menus on the printer.
Now the bad news, the opc belt will retail at something over the $600 mark and to be honest, most people who are in your situation simply go out and buy another printer. The whole unit retails at about $900 if you shop around.
You are correct the 'Belt CG' is the OPC belt cartrige. The mesage advising this item needs to be replaced comes up as the result of a page counter in the printer. The mesage comes up as a result of the page counter exceeding the maximum number of pages expected from the OPC, ensuring reliable print qulaity.
The message does not indicate the OPC Belt is damage, it has reached the end of its designed life.
