I actually have that very same crock pot and my dark green crock and solid glass top are in perfect condition, but the electrical cord is starting to tear and expose the wire. I think it's doing this because the cord isn't underneath the unit and is on the very back. Is there anyway to find a new electrical base?? I LOVE my crock pot, especially because it's the perfect size, nice and big for a pot roast. Does anybody want to sell their electrical base? or I'm wondering if should try and sell my dark green crock and glass lid? Is there anyway to buy another electrical base???
The factory could probably ship you a new Stoneware pot, but the cost of the pot plus the shipping cost for that heavy item would probably be as much as a new unit. My suggestion is to replace the whole cooker.
I have the same problem so I called Rival. They told me that they no longer carry this particular model (3745 oval) and they do not have the electrical base as a replacement part. They suggested that perhaps another 4.5 or 5 qt. model might be able to use the stoneware liner. They attempted to find one that is compatible but their computers were running slow and it would have taken too much time to look one up. I will attempt to locate one that will work and post the solution here. You may also contact me at: firstname.lastname@example.org, if you wish to contact me directly.
I have a stoneware round, forest green liner for a Rival crockpot. I think it's for a 6 quart because I only buy the larger crockpots for my cooking needs. If you would like this, please email me at email@example.com so we can exchange addresses.
I have a round, forest green stoneware liner for a Rival crock pot. The liner has no divider. The liner has no chips or cracks. Sorry but I cannot remember to which model number this stoneware liner fit; but I can tell you that the Rival crock pot I had was either a 5 to 6 quart and it fit a plastic lid.
