I need the driver 802.11b/g wireless

I'm assuming this card comes built it with the Compaq Presario C500 notebook. In that case, a possible driver for this card could be:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=321957&prodSeriesId=3318986&prodNameId=3413015&swEnvOID=2093&swLang=13&mode=2&taskId=135&swItem=ob-52447-1 (Windows Vista/7)
Due to lack of information, or the age of the card itself, I cannot guarantee the accuracy of this driver

http://drivers.softpedia.com/get/Other-DRIVERS-TOOLS/Others/INTEX-LAN-Card-8139D-RTL.shtml

The above link was found by searching under '8139d driver' on Bing.com. You can get a number of sites that offer this driver for free.

I had to reinstall windows and now the computer will not recognize the lan card 80211g/b How do you get the drivers to reinstall

You have to have the driver on a CD, and then go to add hardware (in the control panel) and the LAN card should show up, Click to install the LAN card, and the computer should find the driver on the CD

XP Cannot detect Intex RTL 8139D LAN card

This is a realtek based card so youe may want to try these drivers

Available Here

Make sure you get the ones for your operating system

extract them to a directory that you can remember and find easily.

eg. c:\mynic

Then select the card from your hardware list and tell it to update drivers. Dont let it wander the internet tell it directly where to find them.
It should then either do it for you with no fuss or offer you a choice of hardware and driver versions.
You would select the latest one and continue.

Hope this helps out

Using G630 but get "network cable unplugged" message

A little confusing this, it would not say 'Network cable unplugged' if windows was refering to your D-link wireless connection(It's wireless) The cable unplugged should be refering to your Wired Ethernet card, so there must be no cable connected at one or other end. You don't mention anything about what the wireless card is trying to connect to(eg Wireless modem/router or another wireless PC). Maybe your pc is getting confused as to whether you wish to connect wirelessly or wired, as it can only work through one IP Address at a time. i could be wrong, but you probably thought that they were working but only one was, you really need to explain why you are using both wired and wireless and what is connected to what, Please reply and hopefully it'll get sorted
