Question about Sony KV-32WS2 32" TV
Following a popping noise, tv went dead apart from power indicator light flashing on and off.
Is it possible to obtain a new power board for this tv and is it farly easy to fit ?
The popping is a bad indicator, something failed catostrophically. This would not be an easy repair, I wouldnt recommend opening the tv, I would take it to a repair shop as it will require some electronic troubleshooting at the component level. Since this tv has a tube most likely there is only two boards, a main board and a kneck board, even replacing the boards is dangerous without knowing the safety precautions.
