These are all of the codes I have for the RCA universal remote.
Programming Your RCA Universal Remote.
The RCA universal remote may already be set up to operate your brand of TV, VCR, or Cable Box. It is pre-programmed with following codes: TV-000, VCR-000, Cable Box-000, and AUX is programmed with VCR code 037. For brands that require programming, there are two ways to program: Using Code Lists or Code Search. Use Code Search if the code lists are not available or if the codes from the lists do not operate a device.
Programming a Device using Code Search: 1- Manually turn ON your device (TV, VCR, Cable Box) 2- Press and "HOLD" CODE SEARCH 3- Press and release the device button you want to set up (TV, VCR, Cable Box) However, if you are using AUX for a device, press and release AUX first and then the device button for the type of device to be programmed (TV, VCR, or Cable). The selected device button will flash once. 4- Release CODE SEARCH. 5- Press OFF/ON repeatedly until the device turns off (you may have to press up to 100 times at a rate of once per second). 6- Once the device turns off, press and release ENTER. 7- With the device on, press any other button. If the device responds, no further programming is required. If the device does not respond, repeat steps 1-6.
Programming a device using the Code Lists: 1- Find codes for each device and brand below. 2- Press and "HOLD" CODE SEARCH. 3- Press and release the TV, VCR or Cable button you want to set up. If programming AUX for a device, press and release AUX first and then the device to be programmed (TV, VCR or Cable). When the selected device button flashes proceed to the next step. 4- Enter the three digit code from the TV, VCR or Cable Box code lists. 5- Release CODE SEARCH. 6- With the device on, press another button, for example CHANNEL UP. If the device responds, no further programming is required. If the device does not respond, repeat steps 1-5 using another code number from the lists. Direct Code Entry
Direct Code Entry lets you enter a code from the accompanying
code list for your brand of device. It's not as easy as the other
methods, but it's potentially the fastest method.
TIP: Each device key is associated with a type of device-the
TV is preset to search for TVs, SAT•CBL•DTC for satellite
receivers, cable boxes or digital TV converters, DVD for DVD
players, and VCR•AUX for VCRs and DVRs. To program a
device key for a different type of device, see the Changing a
Key's Device Type section.
The ON•OFF key serves as an indicator light during
programming, giving you feedback at each stage of the
1. Manually turn on the device you
want to control
2. Find the Code List that came with
the remote. Locate the section for
the type of device you're trying to
program, and find your brand in
that section. Circle the codes for
your brand and keep them handy
3. Press and hold the device key you want to program (the
ON•OFF key comes on).
While you're holding down the device key, use your other
hand enter the first five-digit code for your brand in the
code list (the ON•OFF key goes off after the first digit).
4. When you've finished entering the five-digit code, keep
holding down the device key and look at the ON•OFF key.
Is the ON•OFF key on?
YES: You're done! You've programmed this device key.
NO, it blinked four times and turned off: You have
either entered a code number that is not in the code lists or
missed a step in the code entry procedure. Try step 3 again.
Remember to enter the code for future reference in the box
provided in the Code Retrieval section of this manual.
If your brand isn't listed in the code list, use one of the Code
Search methods to program the remote control. (Refer to the
Auto and Manual Code Search methods.)
If you release the device key any time during the Direct Code
Entry procedure, the ON•OFF key blinks four times, and
the process is exited. The last programmed code under the
device key is retained.
Test the remote with the device to make sure the device
key is programmed with the correct code for maximum
functionality. If some features don't work, try a different code
in the list.
