Question about Canon LaserBase MF5650 All-In-One Printer
How can I scan a document into (editable) microsoft word format?
To scan a document and end up with something you can edit in MS Word (for example) you need OCR (Optical Character Recognition) software. OCR software is usually (but not always) bundled with the driver software on the cd accompanying the scanner.
It does not do a perfect job, it usually gets whole sentences wrong and spells words incorrectly, for example. Check your driver cd for a folder or install option with OCR in the title.
Hope this helps.
