Question about Alvarion (835108) Wireless Bridge
The power and the WLNK on my Alvarion breezeaccess AU and SU units are going off and coming on all the time.I need to reset the unit and change the channel since one of the causes could be congestion. The thing is that I do not have the IP's of the unit and do not have the cable from the Mon pot to the com port of my PC.I need to manually reset the unit to factory settings so that I can configure it afresh. The question now is how can I manually reset this unit to factory settings as I do not have an insight into the configuration of the units. If I can get some part of the device that I can press to reset, then that would be great.Any suggestions? Thanks, Kahindo
There is NO way of resetiing the device. You need to get hold of the factory reset device program from alvarion. This allows you to connect to the device and run a small program into which you enter the MAC address of the unit. The software then sets the unit back to factory defaults
