Question about GE Profile Spectra JGBP90 Gas Kitchen Range
I have a GE XL44 gas range, the gas ignitor for the oven shorted to the chassey, the control panel clock went out . I replaced the ignitor but it still dosent work. Is there a fuse or a part on the control panel that needs to be replaced.
Thank You, John M.
Check for power to the primary transformer on the control. You probably blew out the controller if you find 120 volts present to the board. You may also have blown the coil on your gas valve. Be careful here!
