In Windows 10, Windows 8.1, Windows 8, Windows Server 2012 R2, and Windows Server 2012, the .Net Framework 3.5 is a Feature on Demand. The metadata for Features on Demand is included. However, the binaries and other files associated with the feature are not included. When you enable a feature, Windows tries to contact Windows Update to download the missing information to install the feature. The network configuration and how computers are configured to install updates in the environment can affect this process. Therefore, you may encounter errors when you first install these features.

T's two weeks already when I'm trying to install Windows 10 Creators Update. it freezes and generates a pop-up alert, which indicates an error code 0xc1900208.

Error 0xc1900208 can be caused by a corruption on the Windows update component. To diagnose the error, we suggest that you run the update troubleshooter found in this link. Select Download troubleshooter for Windows 10 to run the check. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/instantanswers/512a5183-ffab-40c5-8a68-021e32467565/windows-update-troubleshooter

PLS HELP ME HOW TO FIX WINDOWS UPDATE ERROR CODE 80070424.....

Hello Dear,

Seems there are some files needs to be updated. Make sure you have admin rights when you are doing this windows update.
1. Click the "Start" Button, click "All programs", and click "Accessories".
2. Right-click "Command Prompt", and click "Run as administrator". If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
3. Please enter the following command, and press enter.

REGSVR32 WUAUENG.DLL

You will get a "DllRegisterServer in wuaueng.dll succeeded" window.

4. Then, please move on to enter the following commands one by one. A success notification will be received after each command.

REGSVR32 WUAPI.DLL
REGSVR32 ATL.DLL
REGSVR32 WUCLTUX.DLL
REGSVR32 WUPS.DLL
REGSVR32 WUPS2.DLL
REGSVR32 WUWEBV.DLL
Now try to run windows update.

During Window Update error Code: 80073712 is found

To fix it,
Click the start pearl, type CMD on the search line, right click CMD.exe on the Menu above, click "run as Administrator". On the command line type the following command:
reg delete HKLM\COMPONENTS /v StoreDirty

also navigate to C:\Windows\winsxs, and delete a file called "Pending.xml" [its on every vista install if you can see it or not]

you will need to enable "show all files" and uncheck "protected operating system files" from "folder options" in control panel

Can't recognize new nvida video card and ram automatic updates dont work error message 0x8DDD0007

Found this solution, may apply to you:

Thanks to a gentleman by the name of Igor Franchuk, he has found the
fix to this problem, and it so easy, it makes me mad.

Here is what we sent to me:

" I've encountered the same problem as you did today. When searching
the
Internet for the same error in hope for a ready solution in
some discussion forum I surfed over quite a few responses and none
of them were solutions.

After giving up I came up with a solution of our problem. It seems
like there was actually a mistake in the previous versions of
windows update.

After disassembling wuweb.dll that is responsible for webControl
update ActiveX object that is actually handling web based updates
I discovered the place where reboot required message is generated.
After looking in around the code I found that the condition
the message is generated is the presence or absence of

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate\Auto
Update\RebootRequired

key.

If the key exists - the message is generated by that brand new v5
update and it fails to work further causing [Error number:
0x8DDD0007].

I assume this key was set up in my registry long ago by the when the
old automatic
update (taskbar version) was uploading a new software and failing to
install it.

The solution then is simple remove the key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate\Auto
Update\RebootRequired

so there would be only

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate\Auto
Update

key without RebootRequired entry.

REGEDIT4
[-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate\Auto
Update\RebootRequired]

After I removed the key RebootRequired v5 update started to work
happily, and installed a new version of wuauclt.exe
"

It worked for me wonderfully, and I feel a lot better about sp2. Hope
this helps those in need!
