You should be fine, ive installed vista on less, it should run fairly decent, if your worried about video you can always upgrade the video, audio is 100% supported in windows update, lan drivers are easily downloaded as well, the drivers for XP will work for Vista, you can get a pci express video card for under $40 thats vista capable, anything nvidia or ati will work no problem

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I have a dell optiplex gx280 on windows 7 ultimate with 2gb ram. i have a dell fh868 video card but no installation software and it will not find any drivers online, any ideas? thanks

After doing a lot of checking online. I think you should just buy a new video card. That one isn't very good at all and you can't even find vista drivers anywhere on the web let alone windows 7 drivers. Sorry.

I need chipset driver of optiplex gx280 915 board for windows vista

It appears that Dell does not provide Windows Vista drivers for the GX280, however, you may be able to force the Windows XP drivers to install (not guaranteed):

http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/driverslist.aspx?os=WW1&catid=27&dateid=-1&impid=-1&osl=EN&typeid=-1&formatid=-1&servicetag=&SystemID=PLX_GX280&hidos=WW1&hidlang=en&TabIndex=&scanSupported=False&scanConsent=False

Normally you would probably have better luck with drivers that Intel provides for the 915 chipset, however no drivers for Windows Vista are provided:

You may have to open the system and see if there are manufacturers names and model numbers for some of the devices you are seeking drivers for. Most of this hardware has not been supported by Dell to use with Vista or Windows 7, however, if you find drivers for windows 7, it uses the same cire as Vista so they may work.

I want to download the drivers easily

Intel does not support this board as a vista compatiple board but it can be done you will have to get the updated drivers from other sources than the intel website or cd Please see individual links below for each driver needed

Chipset:
http://www.station-drivers.com/telechargement/intel/chipset/intel_inf_9.1.1.1012_Beta(www.station-drivers.com).exe

Network card:
http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads
then select
RTL8139C(L)+/RTL8139D(L)/RTL8100(L)
RTL8130/RTL8139B(L)">RTL8100B(L)/RTL8100C(L)/RTL8101L/RTL8139C(L)
RTL8139C(L)+/RTL8139D(L)/RTL8100(L)
RTL8130/RTL8139B(L)

then the driver for vista sorry not having a direct link there website makes linking nearly impossible

Audio:

Video:
http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&ProductID=1044&DwnldID=9498&strOSs=44&OSFullName=Windows* XP Professional&lang=eng

The video driver is for xp but from the posts that Ive found it will work on vista

I hope this works for you enjoy
