Hello. i had the same problem. when i wrote to microsoft, and i tried in my country and a few other too, the us main page of microsoft, but now it's a year from that and i still am waiting 4 ANY reply at all. They don't have time or so, really i was fully dissapointed and still i am.
I tried everything you are trying, try to remember your secret question.

I did it so:
1.Every time you come to the point that they dont let you use the secret question, or when you are 2.trying, go back in IE or what are you using, so you will be able to try more times.
3.when you come to that point that it wont let you anymore, try to sweep and clean privacy in your computer, best with Adwance windows care free, on iobit.com, and try more times.

I'm still waiting for their reply, but there was no answers at all. so if you dont remember the secret q or password, it's better to create a new mail adress, and then try to remember the password to login with messenger, cz it doesnt block you after few try's.

Hope i helped you any, any q, send to juremeh@hotmail.com By

How do I change my password in hotmail

Forgotten password and other sign-in problems Here's the info to get you back in to your account as quickly as possible.
First, try the easiest thing: if you remember your password but it isn't working, make sure that Caps Lock is turned off, and that your email address is spelled correctly, and then try again.
If your password still isn't working, it's time to reset your password.

To reset your password:

  1. Click this link: Reset your password.
  2. Choose the reason you need your password reset, then click Next.
  3. Enter the email address you used when you made your Microsoft account. This could be any email address, or an email ending in a Microsoft domain like hotmail.com or outlook.com.
  4. Enter the characters you see on the screen (this lets us know you're not a robot), then click Next.
  5. If you've added security info to your account, we'll send a one-time code to the alternate phone number or email address you gave us. After you enter that code on the next screen, you'll be able to make a new password.

I want to change my password on yahoo mail ... how can i do that i dont know what is my secret question

You can also use a cell phone number that you might have used when you set up your yahoo email account or if you can use another email address if you added another email address as a security backup in case you forgot your password or security question answer. Other than that you can create a new email address and email yahoo help center and tell them that you forgot all of your login information and you can't remember the answer to your security question and they can send you a new password to get into your old account and you can reset the password and security question, always add your cell phone to your account so next time you get can't remember your password you can request a reset code be sent to you via text message and you can unlock your account that way as well. Hope this helps and you can get into your email account. Good luck.

First off never give out your passwords. If its locked out , its due to multiple attempts of unsuccessful log ins. Contact yahoo and hotmail. explain to them what happened, and they will be more then happy to reset and unlock it for you.

Yahoo messenger resets are attainable by the account owner. Get into the internet website of yahoo messenger with the features of loggin is a display button that has reset passwords feature functions. A click should allow for changing an old password for newer password in which instance would be emailed to the email account of your choice.

Well, if you post the pw and user name online someone will surely hack it. Go to where the login is and use the password reset link they provide. You have two options, get the password sent to your alternate email if you spcified one or you can answer a secret question to reset it yourself. If that does not work contact Yahoo and they will send you a new password. And in future do NOT post usernames or passwords online in a public forum even if you are locked out of an account.

Unable to receive emails from certain contacts

I'm assuming that "send" should be "receive" because you most definitely can send attachments from a Hotmail account, no matter what type, as we'll see in a second.
There are two solutions, neither of them pretty:
  1. Have the sender send the attachment again, with a different name, or as a compressed file. ".zip" files are fine. ".exe" files are not. So if your sender creates a .zip archive of the .exe file that he's trying to send you, that you can save, and then decompress back into it's original form and name.
Heck, just renaming the file is enough. Have the sender rename the .exe file into a .txt file and send that as an attachment. You'll be able to download it, and then rename it back to a .exe.
  2. Forward the attachment to a non-Hotmail account. Hotmail doesn't mention this approach, but sure enough, even though you can't open the unsupported attachments, you can forward them to a different account on a different service. If that service allows you to open the attachment, you've got it.
Hotmail's goal here is, obviously, to make it difficult to open malware in attachments by accident. You have to take steps of some sort; you have to think about it.
If you go through those steps, and you still get infected? Well, it was your own doing.
