How to refresh it

Comment by saptica777, posted on Aug 12, 2008

I have exactly the same problem. Added some songs on it, then it went to refresh database and it froze at some point. I`ve restarted it several times (press 15 sec the menu button) and opened it again. It goes again with that "refresh database" and gets frozen. I would format it but it the computer doesnt recognize it while plugged in. No solution yet? :(

After loading new media it (e200) automatically goes into refresh database and freeze. The pc does not aknowledge that it's plugged in.
Tried holding menu button down for 15 sec did not work.

I had just loaded some new songs on. Disconnected and after some standard displays, it showed the Refreshing Database progress bar. After some time the progress bar froze and made no progress. Stayed this way until battery went down. Put back on USB and got same result. Did the 15 second reset several times with no luck. Songs appear to be on the memory when looking at it in Media Player, but the sorting by Artist, Album etc is gone. In Media Player, all the songs appear to be lumped into one pile that cannot be played or deleted.
