Updating ps3 singstar online.

I want to add songs to my singstar online. I have the internet connected and everything but when i click on the my singstar online or singstore it says i need to do an update to be able to open these things.. i did one update because it brought it up but now i want to do another update and it says go to setting and then system update, but i cant find the settings to click the system update! annoying!
