Question about Apple iPod nano

I connected my i pod 2 the computer and it showed me a messagae saying error in usb device.and after that it got stuck i cant it switch it off and its not even getting detected by my laptop,the light keeps burning and i cant even turn it off

Try reseting the iPod.

To reset iPod nano:
1 Toggle the Hold switch on and off (slide it to HOLD and then back again).
2 Press and hold the Menu and Center buttons for at least 6 seconds, until the
Apple logo appears.

Fuse is completely frozen. no functions work. will not turn off, screen says "disconnected" . just charged it.

It is stuck on the disconnected screen and it won't turn off or on. It had been charging and when i took it off, it is frozen. It is a new laptop with norton antivirus. So I don't understand.......

When i connectting to computer nothing is happen


this is a common problem with the config files. to correct you must:

1. with player powered off hold menu button and connect to PC
2. hold menu button until a blue screen appears
3. windows should find your device and think it's a USB mass storage device
4. when Auto play asks you what you would like to do, select "Open folder to view files.
5. Find the "CONFIG" folder on the device, and delete everything in it.
6. disconnect, and then reconnect your device....
