Re: need help on music?
The data cables only come with software to install the phones driver onto your computer you need Motorola mobile phone tools in order to transfer things to your phone. You do need to pay for this program as well but it does have free trial software 2 other amazing programs are Mobiledit and Mobile Master. I'm sure there is some free software somewhere but I doubt they work very well. IN FACT, the whole process is really quite complicated and I will try my best to write a full guide on how to do it.

youll need to flash your phone..download a flash program,go to www.modmymoto.com you can find them there...then hook your v3 to your pc with a usb cable.make sure you also have motorola phone tools installed.then start your phone in flash mode.you do this by holding the # key and the * key down while turning on the power...there rest is self explaining...if you need furthure assistance contact www.phoenixtec.ca
When you plug in the cable to the phone and then to your computer, you should see the green charging Light on the upper portion of your phone, If you do not, Remove the Cable from the phone, then open the Battery compartment, remove the Battery, Examine it for leakage, or damage, if the Battery appears ok, then reseat it in the phone, secure the battery door, and replug in the usb Cable. If the Green light does not come on, try a different USB Jack on your computer. If you have Tried the Wall Charger for your phone and the green light does not come on after following the 1st step listed above, you probably need a new Battery. then you need to contact Motorola at Motorola.com click on Consumer, then Support and send them a request for help on replacing the battery. Let me know if you need further help.. :-)
