Go to the tv 1 location with your TV2 remote. Turn TV1 on and using TV1's remote press menu-menu. You will be at the System Info Screen. Take TV2 REMOTE and press and hold the SAT button on the top left until all buttons on the top light up. Release the SAT button. Now key in a two digit number from 1to 16 and press the # key. The SAT button will flash three times. Now press the record button until the remote address for TV2 changes to the number you chose. When accomplished exit out of the screen with th TV1 remote and you should now be able to control TV 2. As a precaution ensure the remote antenna is on the back of the receiver. If you still have difficulty it may be required to move the remote antenna closer to TV2. I hope this answers your question. Thanks for using Fix Ya and let me know if I can of further assistance.

If you are attempting to program it to tv-2 on a 625 receiver it has to be set to a odd number for example number 7 instead of 2 or 6.
The reason for this is that the 625 receiver only supports band A frequencies for UHF and on a 21.x remote odd numbers are A band and even numbers are B band.
It is possible to get your TV1 remote to work TV2, but it would have to be a model 6.0/6.3/6.4. If it is not one of those models you would need to have a remote ordered and sent out; then it would work. If your remote is one of the above models; I have included the steps to get that done.
Changing Remote from UHF-to-IR and IR-to-UHF:
1.) Verify correct model of remote and it is IR/UHF compatible. Remove tab from bottom of remote. For TV1: Green Tab with Green 1 in it. For TV2: Blue tab with 2 and black UHF in it.
2.) Push correct tab into remote, and go to your main TV.
3.) Access System Information either with a remote, Sys Info button on front of receiver, or powering it off and pressing the up arrow.
4.) Press and hold the gray SAT button until all buttons on top light up. Release and while the light is blinking enter a number between 1-15 and press Pound(#)
5.) Press Record 3 times and check to see if the address changed to the number you chose. Verify remote works.

Hi this isMike Houston of DISH Network and I see you have lost your TV2 remote. Until youget your 2nd remote you can put the receiver in Single Mode and putTV1 on the channel you want to watch for TV2 and then put it back in Dual Mode.I can help you in getting your TV2 remote so you can watch TV on both setswithout having to change the Mode setting on TV1, I will send you my e-mail andyou can contact me through there; email@example.com.
I'm not sure I understand your question. If you are trying to use a second TV without a remote or if you are trying to set up TV 2. The two remotes are different so, they will not perform on both Tv's. Please gine me more info on what you are trying to do. Thanks, Dave
Hi my nameis Mike Houston of DISH Network and I see the remote will not work upstairs andit's a Dual DVR. You will want to makesure the DVR is in Dual Mode, I will send a link that will help with thesesteps; http://www.dishnetwork.com/SupportSection/same-video-2-tvs.
With the TV 2 remote, it needs to be a UHF type remote. Since the signal goes through solid objects (walls, etc.), you should check to see if this remote has that capability. I have provided codes you can try to program the remote to the receiver. I hope this helps.
Dish has a new remote out called a 21.0 remote wHich is for an IR/UHF capable remote. This remote has the most updated codes of any remote and may work with the Polaroid TV you mentioned. You can call Dish technical support to verify the codes for the TV. I am not in the office and do not have access to these codes at present. If you wish you can also go to dishnetwork.com and go to the tech portal to verify that information. If you have had no sucess I will have that information for you tonight. I live in the Eastern US so please allow for any time zone differences. Thanks for using Fix Ya.
